Ever read one of those things that's a 'good news, bad news' sort of thing?

This is one of those I'm afraid.

For 2.5 years we have thrived at our home on Osborne Street. Each month was literally better than the last the entire time. And then things changed in the world with January 2025.

With the new changes to our economy and the drastic price increases all we've heard from our customers and friends is "I'm cutting back for a bit", or "I just got laid off", or worse "This uncertainty is changing my spending habits for the next while until I see a clearer path".

We've crossed our fingers that things would become more stable as the months moved forward. Unfortunately, it hasn't.

Effective August 31st, we will be closed at 692 Osborne Street. That's the bad news.

The good news is we will be moving to 1446 Erin Street, open by the end of September (just 2 blocks North of Thirsty's Flea Market). And we'll be setup at the Convention Centre for Winnipeg Comic Con (in late October), just like we have for over 15 years!

So stop by the store and take advantage of our clearance pricing as we prepare to pack up and move to the new place. New items and deals will be added weekly until we close. And some of our display cases and shelving will be deep discounted as we can't fit it all in the new place.

Thank you to everyone that supported us these past 3 years at Osborne - we are so proud of what we built and all that came to play in our playground. We look forward to seeing you all over the Summer and at the new place!!
